Howick College is a co-educational secondary school in New Zealand situated in the Auckland suburb of Howick.
House system
There are six houses in Howick College, each house is then subdivided into 11 tutor groups.
- Bacot House - named after John Thomas Watson Bacot, a surgeon who came out to the Howick area with the Fencibles. The house colour is green.
- Bell House - named after the building Bell House situated at the Howick Colonial Village. The house colour is blue and silver.
- Ingham House - named after the first principal of Howick College, Mr Don Ingham. The house colour is orange and the mascot is Garfield.
- Irvine House - named after one of the early English settlers, Captain John Irvine. The house colours are yellow and purple.
- MacDonald House - named after Captain Alexander MacDonald, who was voted into the position of Warden of Howick. The house colours are red and white the mascot is the Gorilla.
- Minerva House - named after the one of the first ship "Minerva" which transported the first settlers and Fencibles to Howick in 1847. The house colours are pink and black.
